Faustina's Adventures in England

Faustina has been very busy since coming to England. She has been visiting the classes in Infants and has been joining in with lots of fun activities with the children. She has made lots of new friends!

Here she is enjoying making presents for Mother's Day. She helped to make some bracelets with the children, they even made one for her to keep too! They also made fruit kebabs with strawberries and bananas - Faustina thought they were delicious!

Welcome To England Faustina!

Welcome to England Faustina!

When Mrs Vallance, Miss Holgate and Mrs Steer returned back to school from their trip to the Czech Republic, they shared all their adventures with the children in their classes. They showed the children the photographs they had taken and introduced our new special guest, Faustina.

The children were very excited to meet Faustina and made her Welcome Posters to make her feel a little less scared. The children also had a taste of some special honey that had been made in Lobodice, where they had stayed. It was yummy!

Easter Cake

"La mona de Pasqua" is a Catalan Easter cake.It is a tradition that symbolizes that the Lent and its abstinences are over. The godfathers give the cake to their godchildren on Easter Sunday. On Easter Monday families and friends go to the countryside to have a picnic and eat the Easter cakes.
