Paddington in Poland
On December 6 the children in Poland have a lot of fun and happiness. It's Saint Nickolas Day. St. Nick (as Santa Claus for British kids) brings presents for children, especially for those who aren't naughty. Paddington also got a present- a jar of jam.

THE SMILE OF A CHILD IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US
The students of "C-tin Savoiu"School organized a Christmas card exhibition. Our Czech guest, the toy-dog Merlin, was there, too. The cards made of paper were bought by students, parents and teachers involved in the Comenius project. The money the students earned by selling the cards was donated to SOS-Gorj Children,a noprofit organization which helps children with mental and motory deficiency. Thus, our students and Merlin offered a big smile to other children on Christmas.

Christmas in Catalonia.
Faustina has been to Eva, Maite and Sandra's home to help them to prepare Christmas. They decorated the house, the Christmas tree, the Pessebre... But she liked best the Tió, a Christmas log that gives sweets and little presents to children on Christmas Eve. Faustina also wrote a letter to the Three Wise Men who give presents to children and grown-ups on 6th January.

Paddington Bear's writing a letter
Today our very welcome guest Paddington Bear have decided to write his first letter home. He's been staying in our school for more than one month so far and he's experienced a lot of different things here. The pupils of one class drew pictures of him, others composed the song about him(based on the music from "gummy bear"), the youngest ones took him to the classroom and learned English together...... oh, not only to the classroom- they danced with him in a gym!
But he misses a lot his friends and "care takers" in England....
So, finally, he decided to write home!!!
Paddington Bear at St. Andrew's Party
Traditionally the children in our school have parties dedicated to St. Andrew's Day. According to the calendar we celebrate St. Andrew's Day on 30 November but the parties are organized earlier, this year it was on 24 November. It's very merry and joyful festival with dances, music, songs, games, fortune telling and snacks, of course. Our special guest from England, Paddington Bear, had a lot of fun with kids. If you don't believe, you can see this yourself!
How do you think, is he a good dancer?
Children are very nice to him and take good care!!!

POEMA: LA TARDOR.
Una fulla a la tardor,
amb les seves manetes,
s’agafava a l’arbre gran,
i deia: Adéu germanetes!

European Day of Languages 2011
In order to celebrate the European Day of Languages 2011, we choosed our favourite Catalan word.
As you can see, with the three hundred words we collected, we made a Catalan Flag in the school main window.

Welcome to "Here we are".
After a long year of sharing ideas and emails, building a project, submitting application forms to our National Agencies and waiting for their approval, we are ready to start our Comenius Multilateral Project "Here we are".
Seven European schools, with more than two thousand people involved, working together to provide pupils with the skills required for lifelong learning, to afford staffs opportunity to progress in their own professional development and to promote the sense of belonging to an European community.
Thank you for being part of this project.
